Wow.

I woke up at 4:00 a.m. shivering violently, barely able to move.  I'm fairly certain I was thrown from a 10 story building, and hit by a bus when I hit the ground. When they said my bones would hurt, they didn't tell me I would feel like a torture victim.  I cannot put into words how painful today has been.  And then Cody came home and brought me this letter:
Dear Mom,
You have been such a great person to me.  You do more good things than a son could wish for.  You are the light that shines through the storm. You are the good air that we breathe.  Without you we would die.  You are the best mom in the world.
Your loving child,
Cody
God is love.  God is love.  God is love.  God is love.  God is love.

  1. Sweet baby Cody knows exactly what to say and when to say it! His timing is always perfect! You have been in my daily prayers...so has Ken, Cody and Kassy. I have been praying for your health to get better and for everyone to have the strength and endurance to get through this. You are even on by boss and his wife's prayer list. They have been following your progress over the last couple of years.

The power of your strength, love, and humor absolutly amazes me! You have always been someone that I have admired and someone that I have leaned on throughout the years. I just wish that we lived closer together so you could start leaning on me.
I am so glad that you started this blog! Whoever gave you the idea - tell them thank you - Brillant idea!
I miss all of you lots and lots!
    XOXOXO
