a plan for surgery

So, the next surgery will be Thursday, April 30.  I'll have to be admitted to the hospital a few days before so they can do the blood pressure blockage before.  Since the surgery is basically out-patient, I should be able to go home Friday.  Maybe even after the surgery if it's not too late in the day.  My mom is coming back down to help with Cody, but it should be pretty easy this time since it's only a few days.  I had a pretty hard morning, but after I cried it out and talked to Ken, I felt a lot better.  Getting out of the house helps too, even if it's to the doctor's office.  Doctors are funny.  The one doctor who was in charge of the BP meds cancelled my Monday appointment because he is going out of town.  I told his secretary that I was having surgery next week and needed to see him about the meds, and she told me he won't be here and I should "find another doctor."  WTF?  I've heard a lot of things from doctor's offices, but that was a first.  Normally, doctors and running in to see me.  So we go to see the infection doctor today and told him we didn't have anyone to administer the BP meds, and he said "I saw Larry 15 minutes ago."  He picked up his cell phone and called him.  Apparently, the guy is in town, and will be for another week.  They worked it out over the phone.  Whatever.  So I'll go into the hospital on Tuesday and the "vacationing" doctor will come in a start the blockade meds.  If it's not one thing, it's another, that's for sure.  And my surgeon is out of town today, so hopefully his office can get the admission set up on Monday without too many issues.  That would be a miracle.  So pray for miracles.

God is love.
