I know I have been slacking off on the writing, but I haven't had much to write about lately and trust me, that's a good thing. Today, it's been two months from the last surgery. I have a check-up next week, and everything seems to be functioning properly. I haven't gained any weight yet, which is good, since I cleaned out my closet last week. I'm 15 days into my 28 day chemo cycle, and I'm just trying to ignore the side effects right now. I've been really enjoying eating, so it's a bummer I'll probably be back to scrambled eggs and smoothies next week. Once I stop taking the meds, the side effects go away almost immediately. Two or three days, and I'll be much better.
I'm so excited we get to go back to Maui with the kids for our 10th anniversary. I definitely want to take the drive to Hana this time. Hopefully, someone will want to go with me. A friend told me you can get a CD to listen to as you make the drive, so we'll have to try that.
So, all in all, right life is good. God is love.
