Be careful what you wish for

Two weeks ago I was happy to be on the Sutent again. Today, not so much. Usually my hands and feet are really sore by now, but they seem to be doing ok. My mouth and head, on the other hand, are right on track. My mouth is super sore, like I took a big drink of super hot coffee. It kind of makes my tongue swell up a little too. The headaches are the worst though. Even my hair hurts. If I smile or raise my eyebrows it kills. My blood pressure is getting a little out of control, too. Not only do the tumors make it higher, so does the chemo meds. Yesterday it was 130/110, and that's too high. So I have to start the Dibenzyline. It will make my nose stuffy, and make me tired. More tired. [big sigh] It's funny, whenever I see my friends at church, they tell me how good I look and they can't believe I'm sick. Well, if they saw me today they would change their minds. It's 1:15 pm and I haven't gotten out of my pj's yet, or brushed my hair. It hurts too much.

Cody is getting over a cold, and Ken is fighting one right now. I'm trying to be careful so I don't catch it. That's the last thing I need. I'm hoping we'll all be healthy by Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to see my family all together and playing games, shopping and taking pictures.

I'll get the results of my next blood test the week after Thanksgiving. Pray for good news.
