Latest doctor appointment

I know, I know...  Finally I decide to write again.  With Facebook, I don't always remember to post here much anymore.  It's easy to just post a few sentences with my status.  For some reason, I feel like I need to write a lot here, but I guess I don't really.  Not much has happened since my last post, thank God.  It's been relatively peaceful around here.  I have both kids at home, everyone is healthy, we have a couple of vacations planned this summer.  My doctor's appointment today went well.  My catecholamines are lower than last month and I get another month off chemo.  My hair is starting to grow back.  I've been out and about this last week without a hat or wig.  I was sporting a mohawk yesterday.  Ken liked it, but Cody not so much.  Kassy said I looked like her boyfriend.  I don't know if that's good or bad.  Kassy also had her annual testing, and the prelim results look good.  No tumors for her this year.

Went to Vegas with my sister and family a few weeks ago and had a great time.  Going to the mountains above Tahoe with Ken's family in a few weeks.  And we are going to stay at a local resort for 4th of July fireworks.  I can't wait.  I love family time.  My sister sent a phone picture to me today that showed her car temp showed 113 outside today at 4:00 p.m. in Bakersfield.  Yuck.  It was 70 here today.

Cody turned 9 last month, and Kassy turned 20 this month.  Cody rode a bide for the first time yesterday.  Kassy and I have been trying to teach him for a few years, and we couldn't do it.  Crappy bikes, bad attitudes, and general lack of interest had plagued us.  Then Cody and Ken went and got a great BMX bike yesterday, and we got it out of the back of the car, and Cody got on it and rode off.  He didn't come back for 3 hours.  It was getting dark and time to come in, so it was time for his first crash.  He got the wobbles and tipped over, and the handle bar slammed into his chest and throat.  Oopsie.  But he was right back on it first thing this morning.  So I took Kassy's bike and we rode around together for awhile.  It has been years since I was on a bike.  It was great.

That's all I have for now.  Thanks for hanging around.  And for the prayers.  Please keep them coming, because they are working!

God is love!
