So far, so good

We saw the surgeon today.  He looked and looked, stuck a long Q-tip back there, and he doesn't think what we are seeing is a hole.  He thinks it's an indentation, but it doesn't go all the way through.  He wants us to see the plastic surgeon this week anyway, just in case something comes up and they have to do the skin graft flap later.  It takes a long time to get in with that doctor, and my surgeon was able to get an appointment for me this week, so he doesn't want to waste it, and if things go sideways in the next few weeks, we can move ahead immediately.  At least I won't have to miss Cody's birthday party on the 16th, so I am very happy about that.  I won't be eating the pizza, but I think I'll manage without.
